We are pleased that you are considering holding your special event at the Reva Fire and Rescue Company.  We are a volunteer organization that strives hard to provide a much needed community service and we are proud we can offer such a nice facility.  We strive to maintain it in a manner that will encourage its continued use.

            The attached agreement spells out the conditions under which a rental is granted.  In many cases the individual signing the agreement as the responsible party is not the same individual who is setting up, decorating, catering, providing music, etc.  It is very important that the lessee passes along the conditions contained in the agreement to others involved with the planned activity. 

            Further, if the lessee does not choose Reva’s “Fire House Gang” to cater his/her event, courtesy use of the kitchen is still allowed, but the kitchen privileges are very limited.  The party responsible for serving the food must be told that use of the stove, microwave, coffee maker and/or pots, pans, utensils is not permitted.  Nor are any items such as dishtowels, dish detergent, foil or plastic wraps, cups, plates, etc. provided. 

            A very important thing to remember is that the lessee is responsible for his/her guests’ adherence to the conditions of the agreement.  If alcohol beverages are to be served, the lessee is responsible for acquiring appropriate permits and adhering to the State regulations.            

            A Company member is on premises or immediately available during the time of a booking to answer questions and assist in case of an emergency, because we want each event held at Reva to be an enjoyable and memorable occasion for all parties involved.
